Our mission is to serve our community to the best of our ability and put in our effort to collectively build a better world.
Who We Are
The Edison Metro Lions Club is located in the heart of Central Jersey. We are a part of Multiple District 16-J and the greater Lions Club International. Our club is comprised of persons from the greater Edison, East Brunswick, Somerset, and Highland Park areas.
What We Do
WHERE THERE IS A NEED, THERE IS A LION- The Edison Metro Lions Club is committed to fulfilling this universal motto for Lions Clubs around the world by helping to solve the problems of our community whenever we are given an opportunity. We engage in many service projects multiple times every year. This includes, but is not limited to book projects, musical performances, environmental projects, food pantry donations, and much more.
Diabetic Care
New for 2019! We are partnering with RWJ Barnabas Health to bring our community the Diabetic Care & Healthy Eating event. Join us for free health screenings, healthy eating presentations, and much more! 
Book Projects
We collect books for donation which are later carefully packaged into our mailing boxes and shipped all over the world for children in need. Countries such as Africa and the Philipines receive these donations. |
Musical Group Performances
We extend our boundaries by performing a wide range of genres for people of all cultures to enjoy. The music we perform is high quality, award-winning. 
Vision
We conduct annual fundraising events for organizations like the White Cane Foundation, raising over a hundred dollars every year. We also frequent the NJ Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center in order to help with organizing donations and similar activities. |
Environmental Projects
We clear litter, remove invasive species, manage plant overgrowth, and frequently participate in beach and park trail cleanups. 
Hunger
We often travel to the food bank where Lions Clubs members sort and pack food which is shipped to those in need. We also donate non-perishable food items to serve food pantries across NJ. |
